AUDIO BOOK
Audio books serve as a useful, multisensory tool to all learners. They help all students decode words, practice listening skills, model reading prosody, encourage fluency, and assist in comprehension. It is particularly useful to students who are lower-level readers, English language learners, and students who have different learning abilities.
For this assignment, I recorded, edited, and added sound effects to the story, Moosetache (1997). Moostache (1997) was written by Margie Palatini in 1997 and published by Scholastic Inc. This book is intended for students from Pre-K-2nd grades. It is an amusing book filled with tongue twisters and alliteration. It presents a problem and resolves it in a loving and amusing way. I hope you enjoy listening to it and get a chance to read it yourself!
The audio book was recorded with an iPhone and edited with Final Cut Pro.
